What is AdSense?

AdSense is a contextual ad serving program by Google. Contextual means it serves ads by relevancy of content. For example if a site is about Dogs then AdSense will serve ads related to dogs so visitors get attracts on that ads because it is related to his interest.

Google AdSense ads are served with the help of Google AdWords. AdWords is Google’s advertising product. AdWords offers pay-per-click advertising means advertisers have to pay when some one clicks on there ads and come to there site. With the same way advertisers ads are served to publisher’s website with the relevancy of the keyword which advertisers have chosen. They pay when some one clicks on there ads and that money is shared between Google and publishers that’s how publishers earn.

When you puts Google ads on your site it serves related ads which matches your website content and when some one clicks on that ad you get paid. This is how Google AdSense works.

How to earn with AdSense?

It is very easy to earn thru Google AdSense. If you have a website or a Blog you can start earning in 2-3 days.

First you should have a website or Blog with little good content not just a blank page or some image only. Better content related Blog or site better chances of approval by Google AdSense.

If you not have good content related site or Blog Google AdSense can reject your application.

Few things more to remember your site should not have adult or hate related etc. content. You must have at least of 18 years to participate in the program.

If you do not have a Website or Blog you can create a Blog for free on Blogger.com which is also a part of Google.

Now you have a website or Blog you can apply for Google AdSense program. Sign up for AdSense.

Fill out the forum with all details and wait for 1-3 days and you will receive the mail whether your site or Blog is approved or not.

If you are approved! Then hay congratulation.

Now you have login id and password to login to Google AdSense site. Go to http://www.google.com/adsense and login with your id.

Putting Google AdSense ads on your site.

You will find AdSense setup tab on the top. Choose AdSense for content. Now you can choose between wizard and single page. Choose Ad unit click continue button. Choose the format of the ad like 728X90 ad size or 120X600 which ever best fir your site layout and you can choose color of the ads now click continue. Now it will bring you to channels continue. On last page you will find a text box which have contained some Java Script code just copy that code and paste it to your web page where you want to ads to be appear save the page and publish it to web and your Google AdSense ads are running.

Putting Google AdSense ads on your Blog.

Go to your Blog on Blogger.com Go to Template section on Page Element you will see the Blogs layout and you will find add a Page Element link click it and it will open a window of element and choose AdSense ad to Blog now provide your AdSense id and pin code or phone no it will take you to format section choose which size of ads you want and there colors and save changes. Now your ads started displaying on your Blog.

Now when ever some one clicks on those ads you earn. You can see your earning by login to Google AdSense.
